Hostel Bongo - Belgrade

I had a fantastic stay at Hostel Bongo! I stayed for a week while exploring Serbia. The owner, Dusan, was always on site and shared fascinating stories about the country's history. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even letting me check in early after a long overnight train journey. The hostel was spotlessly clean, and the patio was a great place to relax in the evenings. The atmosphere was welcoming, with friendly guests and staff. I would definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the city center. the staff, including Tamara, Senka, and Dushan, were incredibly polite and helpful. the rooms were clean and cozy, with spacious lockers for each person. the bathrooms were well-maintained and the kitchen was nice. We loved the common room where we could dine and watch TV, as well as the cute courtyard/garden where we could relax and chat with other guests. the laundry facilities, including a washing machine and dryer, were a convenient bonus. And the best part was meeting inspiring people from around the world, like Steve, a cyclist from Scotland.

If you're in town, skip the hotels and stay at this amazing place. Cons: Nothing to fault 👍.

My stay at the hostel was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. The lounge and balcony area was really cool and had a great atmosphere. The location was perfect, with all the main attractions within walking distance. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, with big lockers for storage. The bathroom was also large and well-maintained. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hostel.

I recently stayed at Hostel Bongo for 5 nights and had a fantastic experience. The dorm room I stayed in was spacious and the bedding was really comfortable. The AC worked well, but I mostly enjoyed the cool breeze from the open window. The hostel has a beautiful backyard where I enjoyed socializing with other guests. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and even included a historian who shared fascinating insights about Serbia. The hostel was recently renovated, so everything looked new and elegant. The location is perfect, close to points of interest and public transportation.

Hostel Bongo was just amazing! I stayed there for a week and it exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with electronic lockers and plenty of outlets. The showers and toilets were also spotless, with hot water always available. The kitchen was well organized and always clean, and the staff, especially Daniella, were super kind and helpful. The hostel had a great vibe, with a social atmosphere but not a party hostel. The location was perfect, close to everything. I highly recommend staying at Bongo!

The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home during my Christmas stay. They were always available to answer any questions and provide assistance. the location of the hostel was also a big plus, being just a short walk away from the main attractions in the city. This made it very convenient for exploring and getting around. the common area and outdoor space provided a great place to relax and hang out with other guests.

The cramped shower in the downstairs bathroom. It was a bit small and lacked sufficient hooks to hang my toiletries and clothing.

Nothing, all was good.

The beds were comfy, and the lockers were spacious enough for all of our belongings. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean, and the kitchen facilities were great. We especially enjoyed the outside area, where we could socialize with fellow travelers and bask in the sun. The hostel's location couldn't have been better, with the train station just a short 10-minute walk away and the city center only 5 minutes away. Despite these great features, I must mention that the backyard area has a lot of untapped potential, but with some investment, it could be transformed into something awesome. That being said, overall, we had a fantastic stay at Bongo and would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

The hostel had a great location, just a short walk from all the main attractions. It was also very clean and well-maintained. the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Plus, the free laundry service was a nice bonus.

There were a few things that we didn't enjoy about our stay. the lack of plugs near the beds made it difficult to charge our devices conveniently.
